ETA is a nonprofit organization established and registered in Tanzania 2014 in accordance to NGO act 2002.ETA registration number is 00NGO/00007026. ETA is a Non Profit Organization aiming at equipping and imparting civic education as well as general knowledge among Tanzanians society and Community at large, focusing specific on moving the all Tanzanian to self determination and awareness ETA is established by energetic, inspired and motive individuals and has established excellent management and organizational structure OUR VISION   The vision of ETA is to have Tanzania Communities which are best laying self awareness, democratic society, the excellent one that advocates the civic education and personal advancement programms. SADC ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS, 2015

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Secretariat has organized the SADC students essay writing competition for year 2015. The Essay writing competition is intended to broaden knowledge of the secondary school going population on SADC activities. The competition is open to form 1 to form 6 students. The students are required to begin researching on the topic prior writing and submitting to their Heads of School.

A non-governmental organization (NGO) is any non-profit, voluntary citizens' group which is organized on a local, national or international level. Task-oriented and driven by people with a common interest, NGOs perform a variety of service and humanitarian functions, bring citizen concerns to Governments, advocate and monitor policies and encourage political participationparticpation through provision of information. Some are organized around specific issues, such as human rights, environment or health.

It is a campaign for increasing Youths Employment by investing part of employees salaries instead of drinking beer or using it unwisely.
By inviting some of the amount from our salaries ,we can reduce the rate of unemployment here in Tanzania.therefore 5salaries=2youths employment  campaign  aims to reduce youth unemployment and increase investments here in Tanzania.

NEEC TO PARTNER WITH YBI TO SUPPORTS YOUTH ENTREPRENEURS IN TANZANIA

Youth Business International (YBI), a Prince Charles Charity organization will soon expand its works to Tanzania through a partnership with the National Economic Empowerment Council (NEEC) as a lead coordinator of its envisaged Underserved Youth Entrepreneurship Development program.
This was revealed at the workshop on Establishing the National Program for Under-served Youth Entrepreneurs (Youth Business Tanzania) that was jointly hosted by NEEC and YBI held recently in Dar es Salaam

The retiree; means someone who leaves their job, either willing, incapacity, or age when he/she can get a pension. In Tanzania according to public services retirement benefit act of 1999 the age of voluntary retirement from Service is fifty five years. an officer who attains the age of fifty five years may at any time thereafter opt to retire but an officer who does not so opt shall continue in office in the Service on pensionable terms until he/she attains the age of sixty years which is the age of compulsory retirement.

The call for proposals for Sida funded partnerships between research institutions in Tanzania and Sweden is now open. This programme named "Research Training Partnership Programme as an integral part of Swedish Research and Development Cooperation" aims at supporting the strengthening of institutional research capacity at universities and research institutions/organisations in Sweden's target countries, contributing to increased capacity for carrying out research for inclusive development.

GPE Programme for Tanzania (LANES) Launched to Regional and District Level Education Officers

The Prime Minister’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PMORALG) conducted a two day working session with all Regional Education Officers (25), District Education officers, Academic Officers and Adult Education Officers from 160 Councils.

The main aim for the session, which was launched by the PMORALG Permanent Secretary, Mr. Jumanne Sagini, was to provide an overview of the LANES programme including roles and responsibilities of officers at different levels of planning and implementation, expected programme results, and Financial Operations.

The Toyota Foundation Research Grant Program 2014 invites Project Proposals

The Toyota Foundation is inviting project proposals for 2014 Research Grant program entitled ‘Exploring New Values for Society’. The major aim of the research grant is to respond to a diverse array of social issues, with a focus on areas of human and natural environment, social welfare, and education and culture.

Grant Frameworks

Joint Research Projects led by project team – Up to around 4 million yen for projects spanning one (1) year and up to around 8 million yen for projects spanning 2 years. Total allocated grant amount is approximately 80 million yen.

Individual Research Projects carried out by individuals – Up to around 1 million yen for projects spanning one (1) year and up to around 2 million yen for projects spanning 2 years. Total allocated grant amount is approximately 20 million yen.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants (project representatives or participants) can be citizen and resident of any nation, without any restriction.
• There is no restriction to the applicants’ affiliation (or lack or affiliation) with any university, research institute, NPO/NGO, or other organization.
• Grant request cannot be made for the payment of personnel or living expenses of the applicants.
• Proposed projects that involve research in different disciplines and fields of activity involving the participation or cooperation of  researchers affiliated with universities or research institutes in the grant recipient’s country and elsewhere, as w ell as those involved with NPOs and NGOs are prioritized.

Note: Proposals can be submitted from 25 August till 5 September 2014.

Shirika la afya duniani WHO limetangaza kuenea kwa ugonjwa wa Ebola Magharibi mwa afrika kama janga la kimataifa linalohitaji kushughulikiwa kwa dharura.

MRADI KUKUZA STADI WAANZISHWA

 

Wizara  ya  Elimu na Mafunzo  ya  Ufundi  kwa kushirikiana  na Asasi  za vyuo na  taasisi za Canada wameanzisha Mpango wa kutekeleza mradi  wa  Mafunzo  ya kukuza  stadi kwa ajili ya uajiri (improving skills training for employment programme - ISTEP ). Mpango huu utajenga uwezo wa asasi za Mafunzo ya ufundi nchini kufundisha kwa umahiri stadi zinazoitajika katika sekta za uchimbaji wa madini, mafuta, gesi na sekta ya utalii.

ETA leo imefungua ofisi mpya mtaa wa Lumumba wilaya ya Ilala jijini dar es salaam.ofisi imefunguliwa na Mwenyekiti wa ETA Mh.Mwemezi Kaijage huku  akiwaasa viongozi na wanachama kushilikiana na kutokata tamaa pale changamoto zinapo wakabili.

 

 Mlezi wa ETA pia amewashauli vijana kuwa makini na kuwa waaminifu katika maisha yao ,pia kudunisha upendo na aman miongoni mwao,amesema hayo huku akitoa mifano hai juu ya maisha yake na changamoto alizopitia.
